Subject: Library Access

I am a first-year graduate student in library science, and I am taking a
course in library organization.
For my final project in this course, I am interested in studying
movements
in library accessibility. What have people tried, and has it worked? And
as
computers become more graphic intensive in an effort to be more
user-friendly, what impact does that have on accessibility to the
visually
impaired user?

I would love anything you can tell me, whether you are aware of studies
that might help or just anecdotal information that would help my to
understand the problem facing libraries.

Feel free to respond off the list.

Thank you so much!
