There's an active e-mail list of folks discussing VoiceOver.  You can find
archives to the list at

I've spent maybe two hours with the product doing mostly system navigation
and reading help content myself.  Those tasks worked well but I recognize
that those are basic functions.

Hi Norm,
The presentation at CSUN was pretty impressive. They did the entire
presentation by keyboard only. I still adopt a wait and see attitude, but
I'm willing to give them a chance. Tiger in his office and he has invited me
to try it out. I'll let you know how it goes.

Hello Norm.  Reliable hearsay evidence is that it isn't very usable by
blind people.   It is more of a screen reader for people with vision
having
various print disabilities.  I'm not aware of any direct information from
Apple about plans to make it more accessible to blind people.
