As the mother of a child whose irrational anger and behavior (before his
diagnosis as a celiac) made me truly fear that he'd end up either dead or
in jail for life, I have certainly wondered about the school shooters. I
have spoken to my son's doctor about the relationship between behavior
and celiac and he has promised to write a paper--but here we are three
years later and I don't see the paper. Yet, everytime I hear about
another violent incident in a school, my heart breaks. I KNOW that there
are answers to this and that we hold at least one of them.

This group helped me through a very rough time when my son was first
diagnosed and I am forever grateful to Ron Hogan and all the others who
responded to my calls for help at that time, but perhaps this subject is
of limited interest to this list. I would think that our first step
would be getting together an email list to brainstorm this thing.
