Dear Listmates;

I am assisting a young man from Germany in finding a host family for him
for the 2001-2002 school year. The sixteen year old is particularly
interested in the Northeast, although he is flexible. He would be with his
host family for an entire school year. The difficulty for his exchange
organization is that he is a Celiac, and they are unable to find him a
family to stay with that has experience with the disease. This of course
would be the appropriate accommodations because the family he lives with
would have to be able to cook for him and handle his diet. He has been
trying since July 2000 to locate a family. A bright young man who likes
acting, music and American Culture, he would be entering the 11th grade
this fall. If you are interested or would like to learn more about this
promising young Celiac, please email me as soon as possible. Time is
running out for this young person to locate a family in time for the
upcoming school year. He is represented by an exchange agency of which
further details can be supplied. Thank you for any assistance.
