Hi Everyone,

Since receiving the GF list from Applebees back in October of 1999, we
have eaten there many times with no problems.  However, yesterday my
husband had a bad reaction to his normal meal -- the smothered chicken
breast with new potatoes and steamed veggies (made with the Italian
Chicken breast).  This morning I talked with Kim Hermes from Applebees
at 800-354-7363 ext. 4087, and she said that they have made some
formulary changes and we can no longer use the GF list that they
supplied.  She is trying to collect enough names of callers inquiring
about their GF menu items to be able to justify a new GF list.  If you
are interested in eating at Applebees, please call her and inquire about
GF items.

Until they provide a new GF listing of menu items, I guess we won't be
eating at Applebees.  To bad, since they are in the process of building
a new one not far from us.
