I am going to take my tech and code tests in the next month. I have a few
questions.

Got a home station comming. However I want a qrp rig to take on my fishing
trip later this summer, and maybe to operate from the bed after neck surgery.

Any suggestions for a decent qrp rig and quick on/off antenna system for
Dad's pickup?

Also, I will need an swr meter for the home and portable stations. The two
need not be the same box, but would be nice if they were.

I plan to use a streight key, as I never mastered paddles.

I have looked at several kits, but think I would have problems with tuning,
and some of them don't cover the novice bands.

Thanks for any help.
