You get two strains of Scientists from WWII Germany, those who
hate the Nazi's and will sabitoge to stop them and those who know
nothing. I can't think off hand of any pro-Nazi scienist who actually
both likes the Nazi's and knew anything, because the racism of the Nazi's
is so psuedoscientific. I was thinking more along the lines of the USA
and USSR. (The USA is a totalitarian society run by the CIA). Both of
them have wonderful space and war industries. The USSR has done very
well thourgh I tight control of the human Sciences, using Pavlovianism
dogmatically has avoided clap-trap like "The Bell Curve" and other
nonsense. As for Communism itself, the question we have to ask ourself
is whether man is my nature a predatory creature, and if we ceased wholly
from preying on one other could we continue to survive as a race. It
would take a changing in the nature of mankind to purge the species of
it's Hobbsian element.

Don't get me wrong, a hippo is a perfect creature in and of
itself, but as a utilitarian domesticated species it fails compares to
the horse. One cannot ride a hippo.
