If the database mentioned in Chuck Brandt's post only displays
manufacturers names and addresses, you can note the city and state of
the one you want to call and visit <http://www.switchboard.com>

At least that would give you a phone number, though
probably not toll-free number.

For medicines, the PDR (Physicians' Desk Reference) lists
manufacturers of prescription items and contact information,
including toll-free phone number.
