Can the two computers see their own shared directories? Do the shared
directories show up as shared in Windows Explorer? Which operating system
are you running? Did you check to make sure that the sharing is fully
enabled on those two computers?

Just some things to check.

In our office we have 5 computers connected to an 8 port 3com switch.
Each computer has a 10/100 NIC.  All are seeing each other and three of
them are sharing.  The other two can are seen but are not sharing.  They
appear in Network neighborhood but their hard drives can't be seen or
