Hi,
  Unfortunately, these are the symptoms of many virii that overwrite the BIOS
code in computers that can "flash" (update) that code. Once the BIOS code has
been overwritten, on the next bootup, the computer will fail to even POST
(i.e. no video), although the power and disk LEDs will be lit, as the power
supply is still OK.
  If this is the case, you will need to replace the BIOS chip with a good one
(or re-write the present one in a programmer), then boot the system from a
virus-free, WRITE-PROTECTED boot floppy, and run anti-virus software from
there to clean out the virus on the computer.
