I just love it!
I'm about three or four days behind with email lists and somebody posts an
obviously off-topic, and possibly spurious piece of urban-legend crap to
the list. Then, so far as I read through the backlog two people now post
back to the list protesting its having been posted here and observing how
off-topic, repugnant, and offensive it is. They then go on and urge the
person not to post such trash here any more and, lo, and behold!, what
appears at the bottom of both their posts in its full and complete glory?
You guessed it, the very message that suposedly should not be posted to
this list.

Anybody home!!!? Turn off quoting!
