Hello,
BTW: Thanks for the referal to Jung: Interpreting Your Dreams
I just joined this group which seems to have a large membership.
I look forward to discussions related to Jung and psychotherapy in
particular. I am a published poet but I make my living as a
psychotherapist in private
practice.
I have been interested in Jung and recently I been studying Jungian
practical concepts for psychotherapy. Recently I have taken a homestudy
course as a review of
Jungian concepts and to get credit for this knowledge - to formalize it
would be a better word.
I was wondering if I could get some feedback or ideas on some study
questions that were presented to demonstrate knowledge of Jungian Analytic
Psychology.
I already went through the study module with tapes and transcript but
wanted to
get some other perspectives on a question or two.
1) When the Ego is unconscious of a complex, it may either identify with
the complex or
project it outward. I was looking for concrete examples of how for example
the Power Complex
may be projected?
2) What would be the difference between the "shell" and "core" of a complex
in terms of the
personal and the universal unconscious?
3) From a Jungian perspective, how is the Ego distinguished from the Self?
Thanks in advance for any and all help,
Bruce
