Somehow the entries for CD-ROM in Device Mgr, Win98, have vanished. I do
not have a CD-ROM installed, but have a CD-RW and a DVD. I cannot
reinstall either with Add New Hardware, as neither is listed in "Show all
hardware", and I cannot use "Have Disk" as drivers are on CD. Windows
does not find CD-RW or DVD when I reboot. Booting with boot disk,
enabling CD, and then trying to start Windows doesn't work. I cannot
reinstall Windows. What should I do?
