Are you talking about installing hardware you already have, but have lost
the installation software and/or manuals? If so, you will need to go to the
manufacturer's web site to download the latest drivers, and, if you're
lucky, a .pdf file that is the manual. Not every manufacturer does that,
but most downloadable drivers come with a "readme" on how to install. There
is no separate application that I know of telling you how to do
installations of specific pieces of hardware. Best bet is from web site
downloads. Joel

Its called a driver. You should normally get this either on a CD ROM or a
floppy disk when you purchased the device. If you are looking for the name
of the file, now that would be difficult, especially as you haven't advised
us what you have. Also a good idea to advise the environment you are working
in.
Unless of course you a re talking about a tutorial.
Hope this helps.
