I just replaced my PCI Voodoo3 Display Card with an AGP Voodoo5 5500. When I boot my machine for the first time, it gives a long bleep and does not recognize the card, on reboot it works fine. I browsed the motherboard manual, but this didn't help, and there are no jumpers on the voodoo card to change.
The Board is a Biostar M7MKE.
The PCI slot nearest the AGP slot is currently empty. Is it true that I need to fill that slot with a card(not Display Card) otherwise my system will continue to check for a PCI Adapter every time I boot first time?
Thanks
