Since I have not received a response from eMachines, perhaps
someone on this list has the answer to my question on upgrading.

One of my computers currently uses a 400-MHz Celeron CPU.
Does anyone know the fastest CPU that this motherboard and
chipset will handle on a straight swap basis? The motherboard
ID that eMachines has on the net for the 400ix turned up nothing
when I tried to search for it on the Web, so I could not get the
specifications.
