That is true............eating potatoes and meat.........like a big steak
and a baked potato, always makes me feel like I'm so bloated for so long.
But lately I've been eating the steak without the potatoes, substituting
lots of low carb veggies, and no matter how much I eat I don't get that
bloated feeling. I used to think it was the steak. Now I know better

Squashes are paleo.. where did you find they were not? members of the
squash family are also water type veggies such as zucchini, and button
squash.
Squashes are also possible to eat in a raw state.
Potatoes and yams however are not (in mine and others opinion). They
contain indigestible amylopectin and weird toxins & carbs. Some people
can eat them no prob, though others have big problems with them. The
carb amount is also concentrated and not suited to the paleo tract. Try
eating some potatoes and meat or sweet potatoes and protein / fat. you
will feel like a basket ball.
most fruits are paleo.
