This being the case, it seems that the cells of the gut lining
are the "gateway" and have a special importance. If a lectin
does not interact with those cells, it's probably not going to
get into the body to do evil or good. So there is a prima facie
importance to the lectin-ABO interaction, and perhaps a way to
identify "safe" lectins. Beyond that, I agree with your
criticisms of D'Adamo.
