We use Trader Joe's semi-sweet chocolate chips. They are parve. The company
has added a disclaimer on the back saying that dairy is processed in the
same factory. Trader Joe's seems to have done this with every product that
they make. However, it is my understanding that the parve labeling is
correct on the chocolate chips.

As far as margarine, we use Earth Balance.

Hope that helps!
Eileen

I have a question for you-
what type of butter or margarine substitute do you give your daugher, if

any?

so what are people using
as=20
a "chocolate substitute?"
