One thing I do is make things like lasagna or manacotti and use tofu instead
of the ricatta cheese. Tofu actually takes on the flavor of what ever food
you mix with it, so it actually tastes pretty good. My husband was skeptical
when we were first married, but fter trying my cooking he decided tofu
wasn't so bad after all. I also make vegetarian egg rolls with tofu. If you
type your email address I can scan some recipes to you and you can decide
what you'd like to try. Sue

Subject: Milk Free Menu Planning
> I have a milk allergic daughter (8) and non-allergic son (6) and husband
() and have recently gone back to work. I am feeling a need to do some
better strategic meal planning for weeknight suppers. Most of the readily
available meal plans are heavily dairy product dependant. I know there are
some great cooks out there who could share milk free recipes that work well
for them. I also bet this sort of group sharing might help others who are
trying to put meal plans for the milk allergic together.
