What I do is heat chicken broth and add a flour/water mixture to make a gravy
then add cut up mushrooms. It doesn't taste the same, but it works. I use
this in green bean casserole. Don't know when I can make that again though.
Durkee now makes cheesy fried onions so I tried another brand. Oh yuck. I
couldn't even stand the smell of those.
