Just to back this up - they were referring to this as "muesli belt
malnutrition" at one stage - middle class well educated parents were
ending up malnourish their children by feeding them a diet too low in
fat - the kids were ending up with not only growth problems, but all the
other results of malnutrition, including in some case mild brain damage.
