Jamila,

Thanks for speaking for me! Before we were anything (Christian or Muslim,)
we were Africans. Those of our people who still prefer to follow our
indigenous ways, or variations of it, should be allowed to do so without any
hinderance or insults. The last time I checked, we Africans as a people have
suffered more from the hands of religious zealots (both Muslim and
Christians,) than from followers of our ways. Religion should be private
affair. Those who believe they're on to the right path should be content
with their "fortune" and leave others to their ways. Places like Katchikali,
Sanimentereng, or Bafuloto will always be revered by our people. For very
good reasons. I have never been there, but I don't think it's "demon"
worshipping. In any case, unless we summon the courage to free ourselves
from mental slavery -religious brainwashing or otherwise, we'll always be
tools of others who don't give a hoot about us as a people!

Saul.
