This is what Yaya wants. I bet he's enjoying the "show". He knows he can
only rule by dividing the people.
I wish our leaders, both religious and political, will see the bait that the
desp[ot has laid for them and desist. Gambian history and society in general
is rich with explicit examples and manifestations of a unique form of
co-habitation that is not seen anywhere else. It will be a great mistake to
allow a such a tension within a population like ours.
There are thousand and one ways to gain a favorable reward from the Almighty
Allah in the hereafter. Creating a condition that will be detrimental to the
psychological well being of your fellow beings is not one of them.
Introduction of Shariah in the Gambia will definitely cause all non-muslims
to live in fear of retribution/revolt. That is unislamic!
