my dad is doing well. i found that the reason he was still in the CCU was
that they had no empty beds to move him into. now this is screwy, they can't
release someone in ccu to go home, rules are rules. they got to get an empty
bed in a normal room, put him in it, then they can send him home. so he is
still in the hospital because they can't put him in a regular room so they
can release him.

two of his bypasses had collapsed. he is much better now that blood is
flowing. doc did say he'd need surgery for something (no one in the family
could tell me what) 8 months to 2 years from now.
