Thank you for explaining this to me. The reason why I asked is because I was
about told was even a Christmas or a birthday gift would hurt me receiving
SSI and other disability benefits. The person who told me this works within
the SSI office. I know this sounds nuts but I was actually told, I couldn't
receive any gifts. I still do anyway but to you I shouldn't actually.
