Hi Rayna,

  It will probably hurt more if you don't have it done. You've obviously
misaligned something in your head/neck region and no amount of physical
therapy is going to put it back. Don't forget to take your X-rays with you
when you go to see the chiro. To make things easier, you might consider
taking a muscle relaxant before the appointment, along with an
anti-inflammatory. There would be sufficient relaxation quality in that
combo to allow the technician an easier time of it without unnecessarily
jeopardizing your comfort level.
