Demetri,
   I had a similar thing happen after I left my computer on for a couple of
days. The solution was to unplug the power cord from my UPS "WHILE THE POWER
WAS STILL ON" and then replug the power cord back into the UPS. My computer
then rebooted. Before that I couldn't even get it to post or boot from a
floppy.
