One of my favorite experiences is when you explain all your issues to the
waitperson and clearly specify NOTHING ELSE ON THE PLATE! And it comes out
smothered in all sorts of stuff.
I once had a waiter tell me it would only go back in the kitchen, get scraped
off, and returned to me.
I suggested that the manager would not like to have the paramedics there.
That seemed to work.
There are some of us with LI isuues that go further. I get nauseaous (I
spelled that wrong I'm sure) from Lactaid, Dairy Ease, etc. I'm also alcohol
intolerant (don't spray the pan with Pam) so I think most of us have more than the
surface issue of LI.
