Kathy,

Welcome to the list.  I've been on it for only three weeks so far and
already feel at home.  Everyone is wonderfully helpful and supportive,
and willing to share information on almost every topic you can think
of.

I live in Perth, Australia - which I think makes me one of the few
non-Americans on the list - 27 years old, spastic hemiplegia, with a
twist of ataxia!  I was started on Baclofen (oral) about two months
ago, and so far I haven't had any adverse reactions to it, there seems
to be no effect on my mental clarity, and I think it has helped with
the spasms.  I have also been taking magnesium supplements, and they
help tremendously with fatigue and insommnia.  I sleep through the
night now for the first time in my entire life.
