I have been there,  too, and understand more than you think.  At one point, in the mid
70's, I wanted to commit suicide. I was looking up at the bottom of the bucket, in
other words.  I was basically a prisoner in my home, because I was reliant on others
for transportation, and didn't have anyone except my parents to take me places.   I
realize now that I and my C.P. was okay, it was the situation society had forced upon
me that was the problem  Remember, society created itself (unintentially, perhaps) to
be impractical for people with C.P.. to move around in...
