I quibble with Rayna's closing observation regarding the value of our
hearts, minds, and spirits compared with how our bodies work. As I
interpret the statement I see the stereotype reinforced. This may be
because I experience my body as important to my being in the world as
any other facet of my humanity. I may get pain, but do I ever get
    pleasure! <VBBG>

Quibble away, Steve! I have had a bad habit of living totally
in my mind, to the detriment of my body. Things have improved
over the last few years, but I obviously slip back occasionally!
You are right, my last statement could be seen to reinforce
stereotypes, this wasn't intentional. I have learned that there
are things in life that you do not have to have full co-ordination
or mobility for, thank God!! ;-)
