<< Can I ask you a question, what do you cover when you teach your disability
awareness class because a while back we were looking for resources to use at
a training were we were going to do for the bus drivers here. Our idea was
to train them in dealing with people with any disability when ride the bus.
Do you have anything about handling people like that?

Thanks,

Anthony,

Our training is more or less generic. We cover six areas of disabilities:
auditory, visual, epilepsy, mental retardation, mobility impairment and
mental illness. We spend and an equal amount of time on each. We have a 26
minutes video we made for paramedics and it helps alot.
