Dear All,
The idea that tiny amounts of gluten build up to large
amounts has recently become a feature of a number of
postings and replies, especially with regard to Codex
Alimentarius purified wheat starch.
Can I add a very serious point for all to consider here.
If gluten builds up from such tiny quantities to be a
danger, then how can going on to a gluten free diet, so
quickly allow recovery?
The human body has a number of ways of dealing with
proteins and these will always eventually break down any
(non-self) protein or other amino acid sequence into its
constituent amino acids. (All of which are always present
in our bodies).
This is one worry that you don't need to have.
Regards
David
