Thank you to the 8 people who responded with tips on this.

My original post was:

<I will be having surgery on my arm for tennis elbow and carpel tunnel. I
know I will have a lot of pain for a few days after but do not know what
meds I should ask for.

Does anyone know what med's are good for this type of pain following
surgery that are both GF and dairy free?>

The meds recommended are:

Lortab elixer Tylenol w/codeine elixer Darvocet 100mg (lactose and GF)
Vioxx was recommended but my last check showed this to include dairy
Toradol (an injected type of anti-inflammatory) Pain Buster (used to
remove all feeling from the affected area and lasts for a few days)
Stokes Pharmacy was also recommended

I know my son took the Lortab elixer when he broke his leg so I believe I
will go with that unless the doctor sees something else on this list which
would be more appropriate.

Thanks once again for everyone's help.
