We recently had an appointment with a realtor who cheerfully offered Zoe
(age 2) a soda. I told him, no thank you, we brought her some water. He
asked if I would like a soda. I told him no thank you, I'd brought myself
some herb tea. He said, well I am going to have a soda (pause) unless it
will tempt your daughter. He looked at me like I'd fallen from the sky when
I said that she wouldn't be tempted because she doesn't know what soda is.
IMO, soda is not a beverage. It's drain cleaner. "Soft drink" my ass.
Stacie
