To find any files, use the "windows" key and "f" keys together. Windows + r
should bring you to the "run" dialog, which is used to execute any program from
the command prompt. The only other reason why it might not be appearing
immediately, is, when you have more than one program beginning with "r" on the
start menu. For your needs, "Windows" key plus "F" should suffice.
