Yeah, some of this bionic eye stuff is a bit out there. Never-the-less,
I'm glad someone is at least trying. Personally, I wouldn't want to get
one of these implants myself. If you still can't read or drive or
recognise a face, not sure how worth it it is. But I am glad someone is
volunteering. We aren't going to jump from nothing to 20/20 vision in one
step. So, better that someone is working toward the end goal rather than
just saying since we can't get there now, why bother starting.
