Hi All,
I'd be interested in hearing from people who live in cities with model
programs for having access technologies in public libraries. The Multnomah
Library here in Portland, Oregon, is a pathetic example. Even today they
don't have a single screen reader and my most recent discussion culminated
with them telling me that they were considering ZoomText Extra to meet the
needs of people that were completely blind. Are there public libraries
that have figured this stuff out that I can point them to. They seem
unreceptive to listening to me when I try and explain this stuff.
