I have found that Win98 CAN BE very stable, AND shut down reasonably well,
if you have all of the updates AND use the "VxD Fix" found on Nospin's
pages.
Win Me DOES have many nice features included. Your "Start Button" menus
become very organized, the legacy support is good, and installation of
drivers is easy, just let it search the CD for you. However, it eats memory,
so add on. The good news is that prices on memory are extremely low right
now.

Subject: Installing Windows 98 or ME

Hello this is my first post in a very long while, I was a member a few years
ago but lost contact. Anyway here goes.

I am working on a AMD K6-2 450 Based system and I want to install win 98 or
ME if its worth it. Question I went to the Pc-build page on installing 98
and am a bit confused, where do or how do I make this boot disk to install
win 98, please help.
