Good evening

Superdat.log can safely be deleted (I should have mentioned this
in my previous post on the subject) Once the update has been
successfully installed. As is the same with the actual update
installer file can be deleted afterwards, However it is advisable
to keep the most recent pattern update file (executable) on disk
incase for whatever reason you may have to reinstall Mcafee
(drsolomns).  The superdat file is created basically incase there
are any problems/errors upon installation of the recent pattern
updates and to let you know exactly what was installed/updated
(file wise)
