yes, it appears to be more routine than i thought, i find the fact that it
is routine to be comforting. probably why my sister did not call. she
probably did not think it important to call.

like i said i am not a medical type.

Ken,

The vice president had the same procedure done in November and again
yesterday.  So, you'd probably be able to find a lot of information on
it from the news sites.  From what I heard on the news, it's a common
procedure that's usually successful.  Sorry I don't have more detailed
information.  You and your dad will be in my prayers...
