Hmmm....I thought the HIV virus came across the species link through a
Chimpanzee.  Least that's what I've always read.

BTW--I have a 50-something friend who's currently experiencing post-polio
syndrome.  Rough stuff, indeed!

    I was on the POLIO list from St.John's for a while. There are some neat
people on that list. One 20 something contracted polio in Viet Nam. I found
out that AIDS was  generated in Africa by a mutated polio vaccine.
