Derek,
Not getting your PA Update? Word about Fitch came out to alumni this
morning. (Placzek passed away weekend of March 18/19.) There will be a
ceremony in memory of Plazcek on Monday, April 17, 5:00 PM at Avery Library.
No plans yet for a memorial to Fitch, but expect more on that soon. Both
are fondly remembered from my days at CU. Times like this remind me that we
are not just preserving history -- we're living it.
