Re restaurants: have had all levels of experience in all levels of
restaurants.
Note that almost all packaged pastas have preservatives in them which will
cause a reaction. Also, a lot of chefs gratuitously add grated cheese to sauces.
My favorite is the place where they swore they didn't put anything on the
steak.
Further questioning revealed it had been "pre-marinated".
