I have found that many packaged deli meats/turkey/chicken, as well as some in
the case,  contain some form of lactylate (sp?)  The weird thing I have
found, is that for some reason, many smoked types of turkey, chicken et.. do
not?  I always read the label or have the guy behind the counter read the
package to me.
