I emailed Arm & Hammer about the gluten status of their Dental Care Baking
Soda Gum. Here is the reply I recieved:

Dear Mr. Johnson:

Thank you for contacting us at our web site regarding ARM & HAMMER<< products
as they pertain to your gluten intolerance.

We certify that ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda in the context of food use is
gluten-free. ARM & HAMMER Dental Care The Baking Soda Gum also does not
contain gluten. Although it contains sugar alcohols such as sorbitol, which
is derived from corn starch, these ingredients do not contain gluten.
