There will be a segment FEAR of WHEAT featuring the work of Dr. Fasano
on the award winning USM television series Maryland State of Mind.  I
understand the segment is very good.  The program is to be aired on MPT
at 8:00 on this Thursday and to be reaired on October 7 at 6:00 P. M.

The state of Maryland will issue a Proclamation declaring October Celiac
Awareness Month.

County Executive, Douglas Duncan, has already issued a proclamation for
Montgomery County.

Our Group is currently also working on getting Virginia to follow suit.

Doctor packets are being sent out, as well as media kits, for the local
newspapers/TV stations. We will also be speaking to local food stores and
libraries about displaying GF foods , books and pamphlets about celiac
disease.

This is a great year for celiacs!
