I am assuming that you used Task Manager to view and close running
applications. Win9x Task Manager does not show all running processes. Try
using Process Viewer http://www.freepctech.com/rode/013.shtml to isolate
the problem application.Process Viewer will show you everything that is
running and has a kill icon to shut them off.
