Make sure that you have the correct version of VXD Fix. It does work on
Win98SE, I am using it now.
Are you launching it from within Windows? Always works fine that way for me.
Be SURE that you have the correct Win 9x CD.

Subject: VXD_FIX.zip file

Does the VXD_FIX.zip file fix apply to Win98 SE as well? I have been
experiencing most of the symptoms as described on the web page you
referenced in your previous message, so I downloaded the VXD_FIX.zip
file. I executed it using my Win98 SE CDROM. My CDROM letter is E,
so I entered "E" when requested. Got the following messages:

VXD_FIX will now verify the .VXD files have been installed
successfully.
Press any key to continue ......"

After selecting any key, of course, got the message "The files were
not found; please re-run VXD_FIX.

Any ideas?
